The newly elected Lt. Governor of District 7 Key Clubs, Jenna Lasky from Glenbrook...more
On an annual basis our club provides scholarship funds to the two Key Clubs in our communities--Glenbrook North in Northbrook and Glenbrook South in Glenview. Recipients are chosen by the faculty advisor(s) of the Kiwanis Key Clubs at each school and is based on the leadership skills shown by the student within the Key Club.
$1,000 can be awarded to a student who will be attending a four-year college or university, and $500 can be awarded to a student who will be attending a two-year community or vocational college. Funds are paid directly to the institution the student will attend.
A portion of these funds are provided through the generosity of a bequest from the Margaret and Martin Topaz Charitable Remainder Unitrust in addition to funds donated to our club through our Raffle and Pretzel Days fundraising activities Marty Topaz was a resident of Northbrook; a long-time member of our club and had a strong belief in education. Thank you, Marty and R.I,P.
